PoleCon Exhibitor Spotlight: Al the Rebel
All exhibitors spotlighted have previously vended at a PoleCon event.
Thank you for being a vendor at PoleCon! Can you tell us a little more about your brand?
Al the Rebel is a one woman owned business creating “Kinky and Frisky, Jewelry for the Risky.” All pieces are designed and handmade in my metalsmithing studio from sterling silver and gold, and are inspired by pole dance, aerial arts, and the amazing people that train their bodies to do incredible things. I also create plexiglass jewelry, keychains, and lights by digitizing my original metalwork in Illustrator and cutting these designs on my laser.
I sell direct to you through my website or during Pole Con. I also accept wholesale orders for Pole Studios or stores/galleries. I create custom pieces for individuals, stores, and Pole Con as you may recognize my pieces as the competitor gifts.
Is there something that defines your brand that unique to you?
I personally test my jewelry on the pole. I love jewelry and I love spinning, so I make my jewelry durable enough to withstand all pole adventures from inverts to floor work. This gives you the confidence to go from photos to stage to dinner all while wearing your handmade pole inspired jewelry.
How do you want people to feel after interacting with your brand?
Al the Rebel jewelry empowers and instills confidence in the wearers as they shamelessly express themselves with these various wearable objects, similar to the liberating feeling of spinning on a pole.
Anything else you want to share with PoleCon attendees?
I will be back vending again for the 3rd year!
