PoleCon 2020: Rescheduled to August 13-16, 2020

Due to the continued uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, PoleCon has been rescheduled to August 13-16, 2020.

Please communicate only via email about the rescheduling (no DMs, Messenger, comments on posts, etc.) so we can keep track of all issues and concerns.

If you are an attendee:

Please have patience as we coordinate with workshop leaders and certifications to confirm and update schedule details online. This information is not yet reflected in our WellnessLiving online scheduler (it still says June). We will announce when the schedule has been updated.

If you can no longer attend with the new dates, we are currently honoring our standard policy of transfers for passes and workshops.

Follow these steps to transfer a pass:

arrange a private sale or other arrangement with someone or multiple people (if needed)
ask them to make an account on our online system.
email me (ccing them) stating the change and I will transfer the pass and/or workshops to their account from yours.

Hotel Rooms:

If you have already booked your room through the PoleCon direct link or by calling the hotel and mentioning PoleCon, your reservation will be automatically canceled as of April 8.

If you booked your room NOT through the PoleCon direct link or are unsure, make sure to cancel your booking and rebook for the new dates.

Good news — the room rate has dropped $50 per night with the new dates!

If you are a performer:

Only if you are unable to perform please contact me directly.

If you are still able to perform under the new dates, you do not need to tell me.

If you are a workshop leader (free or paid):

If you are an exhibitor:

Colleen Jolly is an entrepreneur and a pole dance enthusiast. She has been poling for 12 years, is the CEO of PoleCon and the Executive Director of the IPIA. She teaches pole, lyra, floorwork, and mobility online and in-person in the DC metro area. She has been active in leadership roles in several international businesses over the past two decades and is also an award-winning pole dancer, artist, writer, and speaker. She is certified in several movement modalities and wrote the book "Mobility for Pole" to help pole dancers move better.
