Announcing PoleCon 2026!
PoleCon 2026 officially returns to the Live! Casino and Hotel in Maryland May 28-31, 2026!
Our “look” this year reflects all the locations PoleCon has previously been held in.
Our current (2014-present) HBIC celebrated 10 years and running more than 10 PoleCons in 2025! We got busy and forgot to celebrate so we’re doing it now! LOL

PoleCon has run for a total of 15 (including West) live, convention style events since 2010 when the first event was held in the National Harbor area of Maryland!
PoleCon events have been held in the following states: California (x2), Colorado (x2), Georgia (x2), Florida (x3), Texas, Louisiana (x2), Maryland (x4), and Virginia.

Please note, prices — on the early bird price — have been raised slightly, 7-14% depending on the pass. There will be a Black Friday sale on Day and Weekend passes. No price increases on workshops for 2026.
Early Bird pricing expires May 11. Please buy your pass before than otherwise there is a “late buyer premium” cost of an additional $10 on all passes ($6 increase on Sunday).

*In efforts to continue our mission of creating and operating in a space for all, each of our 20 showcases form 2025 are reprised for the 2026 event with the exception of the Black Girls Pole (BGP) Showcase. With the unknown future of the BGP Organization, we are making a pivot to ensure we continue to celebrate and uplift the greater Black diaspora. The “Bet on Black” showcase celebrates that it is ALWAYS a good idea to expect and to promote the greatness and diversity within the Black community! With a cheeky nod to our east-coast homebase in a casino, this new name will preserve the presentation of intentional, emotive, and entertaining performance styles featuring a gender-neutral, Black cast. The showcase will remain at its premiere time slot on Friday night and will be curated by a panel of Black PoleCon staff and former BGP ambassadors/supporters who have been instrumental in the meetups, panel discussions, and showcases held at PoleCon since 2015. We hope that our movement community looks forward to welcoming and continuing support of this new chapter as much as we do.
**Volunteer applications have been updated to separate out pole cleaning as a separate task that requires a video submission. This was suggested by some of our veteran pole cleaners to ensure that pole cleaning is done safely and efficiently. You may be a pole cleaner only or do both pole cleaning and non-pole cleaning volunteer shifts. To be considered for both, please fill out both applications.

You will then be sent an email with the link to purchase your passes. Booth prices have increased slightly from last year, sponsor and advertising prices have not.
Information about sponsoring the event or advertising is at this link. Once you have chosen your advertising or sponsorship that you’d like to purchase, email us at info@poleconvention.com. You will then receive an invoice and any other information to complete your sponsorship or advertising.

Information about PoleCon: West 2026 will be available as soon as we have it. Hopefully in the next two months! We are looking for the same weekend in September 2026 (after Labor Day) and in the Western portion of the US.
Colleen Jolly is an entrepreneur and a pole dance enthusiast. She has been poling for 14 years, is the CEO of PoleCon and the Executive Director of the IPIA. She teaches pole, lyra, floorwork, and mobility online and in-person in the DC metro area. She has been active in leadership roles in several international businesses over the past two decades and is also an award-winning pole dancer, artist, writer, and speaker. She is certified in several movement modalities and wrote the book "Mobility for Pole" to help pole dancers move better.
