Introducing our 2024 Local Studio Sponsors!
Since PoleCon historically has been in a new location every year, the local studio sponsor has provided critical help with local resources and providing some equipment.
PoleCon has used local studio help since 2015 and formally recognized local studio sponsors in 2021.
The official process for becoming a local studio sponsor was created for the 2024 event when PoleCon returned to the same location as the previous year’s event.

FIT4Polers is a woman-owned, minority, small business in Alexandria, VA which opened in 2014. Wanna let your hair down and have a little fun while getting fit? Then FIT4Polers is the place for you! We specialize in pole dancing while also providing cardio-based and conditioning classes. Come visit our fun and friendly boutique fitness haven for a party or make it your go-to daily workout. Whether you are sassy or competition-ready, you’ll find it all here at FIT4Polers. All genders, 18 and up. Regularly offering pole, lyra, silks, floorwork, and chair classes.
My Body Shop is a woman-owned, minority, small business in Hyattsville, MD which opened in 2013. Pole Plus Studio is a woman-owned, minority, small business in Baltimore, MD which opened in 2023. Originally started as a small online platform called Curvy Girls Pole for the owner to stay inspired and share her journey, the platform evolved to celebrate all unconventional-sized athletes and created a physical studio space that is inclusive, fun, and rebellious! Regularly offering pole classes.

Colleen Jolly is an entrepreneur and a pole dance enthusiast. She has been poling for 12 years, is the CEO of PoleCon and the Executive Director of the IPIA. She teaches pole, lyra, floorwork, and mobility online and in-person in the DC metro area. She has been active in leadership roles in several international businesses over the past two decades and is also an award-winning pole dancer, artist, writer, and speaker. She is certified in several movement modalities and wrote the book "Mobility for Pole" to help pole dancers move better.
