Interview with New PoleCon Instructor: Boris Kynonesz

We are sitting down to talk to our new instructors for PoleCon 2022! Learn more about them and then click here to purchase their workshops.

1. We’re so excited to have you teach at PoleCon this year! Can you tell us a little more about what you’re teaching?

I feel so lucky to be teaching and sharing what I’ve learned through the years.
This will be a Chinese pole technique workshop, focused on the basic climbs and where /what you can get from there.  Climbs, sit , twirls , tumbles, everything based on the foundations.

2. Is there something that defines your style of teaching or your content that is unique to you?

I always make sure everyone leaves satisfied and nailing most  of the content of the workshop, teaching progressions  and regressions depending on each attendee’s  level and capabilities for each transition.

3. What is the one thing you want your students to leave with after taking your workshop?

Exercises to keep working on to be the stars they are meant to be. But most important confidence and empowerment, it is really important to  me for everyone to leave believing in themselves !

4. What are you most excited about for PoleCon 2022?

I’m really excited about fooling around with  my friends ,making new ones. Can’t wait to see everyone’s performances, they all inspire me! And most important spend a whole weekend in a space where I can be my beautiful and amazing true self.

5. Anything else you want to share with PoleCon attendees?

Pole Con is an amazing experience where I can learn not just by taking workshops but watching performances ,talking and sharing with studio owners, instructors, learning from a different point of view, know what’s going on in different cities and countries. Everything in the same place !! How cool is that?
